Modality: Transmission with audio and video ¨live¨ followed by questions (via written chat) and responses from the speaker (via audio and video). The entire course is recorded and is available for later reproduction in the distance education portal of the INFAL.

Content: Interlaboratories are essential to validate the ability of laboratories to provide accurate and reliable results within permissible levels of uncertainty. They are key to ensure that the analytical method is “fit for purpose”. All accredited laboratories are required to participate in inter-laboratory testing programs to maintain their technical competence. In this presentation the Chem. Marcus de la Cruz from INCQS, Fio Cruz, Brazil will explain to INFAL laboratories the importance of participating in interlaboratories, the importance of choosing an appropriate test, how the laboratory should carry out the analyzes and finish with the interpretation of the results, that is, the critical analysis of the entire process.
