Contents: Seminar aimed at describing and reviewing the Campylobacter genus considering its general characteristics, taxonomic position, epidemiology, pathogenicity mechanisms, behavior towards antimicrobials, growth requirements, bacteriological diagnosis methods and their importance as food-borne zoonotic agents.
